In addition to healthcare, our family at the Support and Care Department consists of LSS (Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), the catering unit, Employment and Integration (AMI), and Individual and Family Care (IFO).

RESPONSIBILITIES

With the help of state grants, Ragunda Municipality is investing extra in preventive work!

The work will consist of several different parts, but two parts are central and make up the majority of the positions. The parts are described below.

Meeting places for seniors

This part involves you setting up meeting places in Stugun and Bispgården. Meetings will be offered 1-2 times per week in each town, and it will be your and your future colleague's task to shape and lead these meetings. There are good examples in the municipality of well-functioning meeting places, both for seniors and younger target groups. Information can advantageously be gathered from these already established forums.

Digital home training for seniors

Movement and exercise are health factors that increase the chances of well-being and thereby strengthen individuals so that they feel secure and in less need of extensive support from healthcare. During the period of employment, Ragunda Municipality will trial a digital tool that means individuals with no or few home care services will be offered home training using a digital tool. The training will be adapted to the individual using individual training schedules.

The purpose is to delay the need for care. It will be your and your future colleague's task to launch this in our municipality. Training will be provided before the start, and continuous check-ins and follow-ups will be held throughout the period.

Collaboration and communication are central to these positions; therefore, high demands are placed on you as an applicant. It is important that you can establish good relationships with other professional groups, individual persons, and civil society, as well as be able to convey information both in writing and orally regarding the project's activities.

These two positions are entirely new and are state grant-funded project appointments until 2027-12-31, with a chance of extension. You will have Hammarstrand as your base and be placed at the municipality's AMI / social psychiatry unit together with a group who are all accustomed in various ways to working preventively and supportively, so your opportunities for collegial support are therefore very good.

QUALIFICATIONS

• The position requires that you have a Category B driver's license.
• You must have completed upper secondary education.
• You must have worked with people in supportive situations.
• You must have good computer skills and be quick to learn new systems.
• You must be able to express yourself well in speech and writing.

Salary: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, Start date: According to agreement, End date: 2027-12-31.

We have just over 5,000 inhabitants distributed over about 40 villages, as well as the three urban areas of Bispgården, Hammarstrand, and Stugun, all located along the Indalsälven river. In the east, the settlement is concentrated to the river valley, while the western part also offers a forested landscape traversed by the Natura 2000-classified Ammerån river.
